The Corda di Luce project consists of a long chain of lights that runs through the entire village. While it crosses the main streets at certain points, it disappears again into side streets and gardens. In contrast to a conventional chain of lights, not all the bulbs light up equally brightly, but one light jumps from bulb to bulb and invites visitors to follow it through bushes, meadows and narrow alleyways. The wandering light creates a mobile space that moves through the various local conditions of the village and shines a spotlight on their specific characteristics.

In contrast to the message from a virus scanner, which does not leave the virtual space of our smartphone screen, the signalling device confronts you with a voice from a loudspeaker. The confrontational direct feedback was intended to allow us to experience the close interweaving of virtual and physical reality. The design is based on the aesthetics of American mobile phone antennas disguised as palm trees. The project managers had to obtain permission from the city council for the installation in public spaces as part of the Illuminate Festival, as there were legal concerns.

The Weinhalde was a temporary space for collective projects on two levels: the first is the continuous project of the collective itself, the second are quarterly themed projects that were open for free application. The house, initially an objet trouvé, was conceived as a project that grows over the course of a year through the various actors. Each quarter, four projects were given space, culminating in a public vernissage in the Weinhalde at the end of the quarter.
